Use this tool to configure EventPro Planner’s Spell Checker.
1.
Select Utilities | Spell Check Setup.
2.
In the Spelling Options window, select checkboxes under Options to configure the spell checker, e.g. whether you want to Ignore Words in UPPERCASE, Ignore Words Containing Numbers, etc.
3.
Under Dictionaries, check the boxes next to the dictionaries you want to use in EventPro Planner.
4.
You can also choose a dictionary from the Custom Dictionary drop-down list. Later, if you use the spell checker in the word processor, you can add new words to the custom dictionary you have selected here. See Chapter 14: Letter and Label Templates, Word Processor: Spell Check.
5.
To add more selections to the Custom Dictionary list, click the Dictionaries button. The Dictionaries dialog opens. Check the boxes next to the custom dictionaries you want available in the Custom Dictionary drop-down list.
6.
You can also edit or delete custom dictionaries or create a new one.
New: Click the New button. Enter the name of the new dictionary in the New Custom Dictionary dialog and click OK.
Edit: Click to highlight the relevant dictionary and click the Edit button. There are three tabs under which you can customize your dictionary.
1.
Added Words: In the Ignore this Word field, type in the word you want the spell checker to consider correct and click Add. To remove any added words, click to highlight the word and click Delete.
2.
Auto-Correct Pairs: In the Replace field, type in the common misspelling of a word, and in the With field, type in the correct spelling of the word. Click Add. The spell checker will now automatically replace the incorrect spelling with the correct spelling. To remove any added pairs, click to highlight the pair and click Delete.
3.
Excluded Words: In the Exclude this Word field, type in the word you want the spell checker to consider incorrect, and click Add. To remove excluded words from the list, click to highlight the word and click Delete.
4.
When you are done editing the custom dictionary, click OK to return to the Dictionaries window.
Delete: Click to highlight the relevant dictionary and click Delete. Click Yes in the Confirmation dialog to delete.
7.
When you are finished with the custom dictionaries in the Dictionaries window, click OK. You will return to the Spelling Options window.

9.
When you are done configuring the spell checker, click OK in the Spelling Options window.
