Remember that attendees can only be registered to attend an event function by using registration groups, also referred to as registration packages.  You would have created registration packages for this event earlier in Chapter 5: Set Up an Event, Attendee Setup: Attendee Registrations.  These registration groups or packages will help you keep track of who will be attending which functions in an event.

As you added attendees to your event, some registration items may have been automatically added to the attendees, depending on the auto-add settings of your registration packages.  In the Event Maintenance screen, you can now add registration packages to attendees individually or to several attendees simultaneously.
