By "modify", this section is referring to changing the design layout of the report.

To modify an existing hard-coded report, you cannot simply "edit" it.  You must create a copy of the report and makes changes to the copy.  You will note that if you select an existing hard-coded report (in red font), you cannot access the Design button.

These instructions will guide you through creating a copy of a hard-coded report, which can then be modified in the Report Designer.

1.Select the report you want to modify and click the Copy button to the right of the Reports column.
2.In the left column, click on the Report Category to which you want to add the copied report and click the Paste button. You cannot paste a report into a hard-coded report category (in red font). You must place the modified report in the Custom Reports category or a category you created.
3.The Report Item [New] window opens.

6.Select a Sort Order. This will determine the order of the reports in the category folder.
7.If you do not want this report to appear in the Reports Menu, check the Hidden box.
8.Click Save.
9.The copy of the report will appear in the Report selection grid. If you want to customize the report, click the Design button to the right. Note that the Design button is not available for the hard-coded reports, which is why you must create a copy of those reports to modify them.
10.The EventPro Planner Report Designer opens. To use the Report Designer, see the instructions under Modify Reports in Report Designer.
