Filter and Find Companies and Contacts

1.To filter a selection grid in the Companies/Contacts so that only certain companies or contacts appear, click the Company List View or Contact List View tab.
2.Click the Filter button to the right and select Set Filter.
3.To review how to set a filter in the Filter Criteria window, see Chapter 1: Overview, Common Functions: Filter Information.

4.To clear the filter and revert to a view of all of the companies or contacts, select Filter | Clear Filter.
5.You can also click Show All to remove the filter.

1.To find a specific contact or company in the Companies/Contacts screen, click the Find button along the right side of the screen.
2.In the Find COMPANY/CONTACT window, click on the Companies or Contacts tab.
3.To search, review the instructions in Chapter 1: Overview, Common Functions: Find a Record if necessary.
4.Select the appropriate company or contact and click OK.

5.If you are in a Single View, the company or contact’s information will appear in the fields at the top of the screen.  If you are in a List View selection grid, the red arrow in the far left column will point to the matching company or contact.
