Edit, View or Delete Taxes for an Effective Date
| 1. | Select Setup | Taxes from EventPro Planner’s main menu. |
| 2. | Select the Effective Date containing the taxes you want to edit, view or delete. |
| 3. | Click the Edit, View or Delete button to the right. |
| 4. | Follow the instructions above under Chapter 1: Overview, Common Functions: Edit, View and Delete Records to continue. |
| 5. | NOTE: If you are anticipating a tax cut or tax increase in your jurisdiction, you may be tempted to go into Setup | Taxes and simply edit the existing rates, but don’t do this! You should create a new Effective Tax Date. Follow the instructions above under Setup Taxes, setting the new effective date to the date the tax cut or increase will take effect. |
| 6. | Remember that the taxes set up here will only be the default taxes for newly booked events. Each event has its own tax structure. If you change EventPro Planner’s default taxes, already booked events will maintain their currently set taxes and rates, even if they originally used EventPro Planner’s default tax structure. |
