Budget Setup

In the Budget tab of the Event Setup window, you will enter your projected event budget. You will want to set up your budget  before setting up other event information, as you may need to assign the costs and charges related to functions, resources, registrations, etc. to these budget items.  Before setting up your budget, ensure that you have adjusted your budget system settings to your preferences.  Go to System Settings and check the Budgeting tab.  Note that you can now create multiple budgets, if you do not budget monthly.

If you based your event on a template, you may already have a basic budget copied into your event from that template.  If you want to create a budget based on a template that has already been created, see Copy Template – Budget below.  To set up an entirely new budget or add individual items to an existing budget, see the instructions immediately below.

Remember that the Budget Module is an optional module in EventPro Planner.  If you have not purchased this module, you will not see the related tabs and screens.
