|
| 2. | While viewing the Attachments tab, click the New button to the right. |
| 3. | The Document [New] window opens. |

| 4. | From the drop-down list, choose whether you want the Storage Type to be Linked or Embedded. Note that Embedded is only an option if you are running the Enterprise Version of EventPro Planner. |
| 5. | Click the ellipsis next to the Linked File or Embedded File field to open the Open window. Select the appropriate file and click Open. |
IMPORTANT NOTE about Linking Documents: You can attach a file from any folder, but if there are multiple users in EventPro Planner, ensure that the file is accessible by the same path for all users. You may find it convenient to store important attachments in the default Attachment & Images folder so that all users will access the attachment by the same path. Review Chapter 2: Setting Up EventPro Planner, Step 1: System Settings, General: Attachments & Images. |

| 6. | The Description will default to the name of the file, but you can type in a new description if you prefer. |
| 7. | Once you have selected the file, you can click the View button to see a preview of the attachment. |
| 8. | Click Save. The attachment will be added to the selection grid under the Attachments tab. |
