Add Accommodation Reservation

In the Attendee Setup | Accommodation Reservations tab of the Event Setup window, you will only need to add one accommodation reservation for each hotel.  Later, you will be able to define how many rooms of each room type are available in each hotel.

1.In the Event Maintenance screen, find the event to which you want to add an accommodation reservation.
2.Click the Event Setup button.
3.In the Event Setup window, select the Attendee Setup tab.  Click on the Accommodation Reservations sub-tab.

4.Click the New button to the right of the Accommodations grid.
5.This will bring up the Accommodation Reservation [New] window.

6.Select the Hotel Name from the drop-down list.  These are the companies you classified as hotels when entering them in your database.  Review Chapter 3: Companies/Contacts, Enter a New Company: Classification.
7.Select the first Check In date and last Check Out date of the entire block of rooms.  Not every room may be available for the entire time, but you will later be able to indicate which rooms are available on which dates.
8.Enter a Confirmation #.
9.Click Save.  The accommodation reservation will be added to the Accommodations grid.  You can now add the types of rooms available for this accommodation reservation.  See Add Details to Accommodation Reservation.
